Kari Albert Kari Albert received her Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University in Art History. After spending several years as assistant curator for an art gallery in New York City, Kari came to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. Kari is currently Production Manager in the commercial film industry. Living in a city like Los Angeles with so much abundance, Kari wanted to give back. When she visited El Faro 1 orphanage, the kids stole her heart. And once discovering Project Casa de Vida, she became committed to the cause. Kari is helping raise funds to secure a new home for the children of El Faro 1. A new home means a better life and a better future for these wonderful kids.

She then moved into the entertainment industry where she has worked for almost ten years, participating in the development and production of the NBC series, The Pretender and Medical Investigations, and the mini-series, Tin Man for the SciFi Network. Leslie now wants to apply the management skills she learned from both careers to her real passion, working with and for children. She devotes much of her free time to serving as a founding board member of Project Casa de Vida with its dream of building a new orphanage for the children of El Faro 1. Leslie visits Corazon de Vida Orphanage monthly where she helps raise funds for the many basic needs of the children there. Her experience with nonprofits extends to her participation as a committee member for Cure Autism Now and The Samburu Project, a nonprofit which raises money to fund the drilling of deep water wells in Kenya.
Denise Paulson Denise Paulson, a Southern California native, has worked as a makeup artist on many productions, including The Pretender, Legally Blonde, Bobby, Crossing Jordan, Dreamgirls, Click and Planet of the Apes. Three years ago, Denise attended their fundraiser and was so touched by the children, that she became heavily involved. She has been going on the monthly bus trips to the El Faro Orphanage ever since. Denise is dedicated to seeing Project Casa de Vida become a reality.
