Our MissionProject Casa de Vida(“House of Life”) Was founded in 2007 to raise funds to purchase a new piece of land and build a new orphanage in a better location in Tijuana for these amazing children at the El Faro orphanage. It is a project in two phases: Phase I – While the children wait for a new homeYou can help us make their lives better now.It is important to keep the current facility in the best condition possible for the welfare of the children. So as problems arise some funds will be allocated for repairs and other immediate needs. In addition to simple living conditions, our goal is to help these children long term. We believe that education is the way to hope. We are therefore focusing on two skills which seem especially important: The ability to use a computer and The ability to speak English While we continue to raise funds to buy a piece of land and build a new orphanage we will allocate some funds for these two projects. Phase II – Buying the Land and Building the DreamWhen we have raised sufficient funds, we will begin Phase II.We will buy a piece of land in a safe area. We will build a new orphanage from the ground up. This will allow the children to live in a clean, safe, warm, dry environment. Every child is entitled to these basic human comforts. A positive living environment inspires self-reliance and above all… HOPE. |
